Area of work: Health Education / Promotion
I am currently working in the capacity of Health Educator for Student Health services. In this position I plan, organize and present health promotion programs to the students and FAMU community throughout campus with main emphasis on preventive medicine. I also organize special events and activities in health related matters throughout campus in collaboration with local health care providers.
Personal Information
I have 3 children and expecting another child this year. She has taken part in several medical mission trips in developing countries.
What I would like to get out of this program
I would like to gain knowledge and practical experience to further grow as a public health professional. This program will also enhance my ability to improve the lives of the population I serve by providing the necessary "tools" needed in the everchanging field of public health.
