Randi Burlew-joined Philliber Research Associates in 2003 as a Senior Research Associate and is currently based in Raleigh, NC. Randi received her PhD in psychology from the University of Michigan and is licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina. Along with having a strong background in research and program evaluation, Randi has worked in both clinical practice and policy development. In 2004, Randi was appointed as a White House Fellow where she worked as a Special Assistant to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Following her appointment as a White House Fellow, Randi spent a year working as a staff psychologist at the Durham VA Medical Center during which time she worked on such mental health issues as dual diagnosis, smoking cessation, and severe mental illness. Randi has a particular interest in mental health issues, teen pregnancy, and youth development.

Randi lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband Scott Burks.
