Current Scholars

Lilly DaggLilly K. Dagg, BS
Manager, Southcentral Foundation

Area Of Work: Primary Care

I have worked with the Alaska Native/American Indian healthcare system at Southcentral Foundation from the ground up, beginning as an entry level medical clerk and progressing to my current position as manager of a primary care clinic. I have seen over eight years of improvement, struggle, and innovation. My experience has provided me with the viewpoint of healthcare from many levels--from change implementation on the front lines to improvement design and management planning. In 2009 I will begin working toward my Master's Degree in Public Health through the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Personal Information

I am Alaska Native and I grew up in the small town of Talkeetna, Alaska. I currently live in Palmer, Alaska with my wonderful husband, Rolf. I enjoy hiking, skiing, and exploring new places, but my favorite activity is spending time with my husband and our families.

What I would like to get out of this program

I look forward to gaining perspective on how other professionals have faced challenges such as creating sustainable systems, and to working together with them so that we can all face these challenges more effectively.
