I am a Program Manager / Public Health Consultant within Northrop Grumman Information Technology sector's Civilian Agencies Group. In this role, I am responsible for providing leadership, technical and process support for the staff of public health related projects in the Public Health Division and across other divisions in the Health Solutions' Operating Unit.
Currently,I split my time between managing 80+ public health professionals supporting the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and as a senior public health consultant to other program areas as described above. In bridging these two roles, I am able to provide a public health informatics view and approach to the understanding of customer requirements and needs.
I earned my Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology, from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, a Bachelor of Science from Clark Atlanta University, and a Certification in Project Management Leadership from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Personal Information
I am originally from Chicago, Illinois and now reside in the metro Atlanta area with my husband and daughter. I am passionate about helping others their potential. I am a mentor to multiple adult, young adult and teen women. I am on the Board of Directors for My Sister's Keeper Foundation for Women.
What I would like to get out of this program
It is my intentions to complete this program with enhanced leadership skills that will distinguish me as well as equip me to be more impactful through communications and interactions with diverse audiences.
