Mrs. Tonya Winchester joined the University of North Carolina family in 2006 with a desire to help students identify, articulate and leverage their strengths, skills and interests into meaningful work.

As Associate Director of Career Services at NC Central University, she shares her knowledge and experiences with both undergraduate and graduate students to facilitate their career development. With over 10 years of experience in corporate America and an additional four years as a consultant, Mrs. Winchester understands the keys to a "successful career" begin with a "successful you."  She delivers clear, concise messages to her audiences in a down-to-earth format that motivates and inspires.

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling, Mrs. Winchester credits her toughest challenge to be work / life balance.
