I just wanted to take a brief opportunity to thank you for all the hard work and dedication to the ELPH program that has made it such a wonderful experience. I have learned so many new and exciting things, not to mention meeting and speaking with so many gifted and talented people. Perhaps the highlight of my experience so far is knowing that I have made friendships that I know will last for a very long time. [I have] learned about the benefits and mechanisms of networking, and the importance of connection with knowledgeable and willing mentors.
Without a doubt, [my ELPH team] has been the most positive team experience that I have ever had. One of our group members developed the concept of Peer TA (Technical Assistance) as a time for us to talk about the individual challenges we faced and to brainstorm ways to solve the problems as a collective group.
The session at the Friday center with the counselors from the Center for Creative Leadership was phenomenal. I have never had the opportunity to experience a session such as that. I really felt like there were ideas that she presented that I have never even taken the time to consider.
